Halswell Wigram Area Strategy

The Halswell/Wigram Area Strategy sets out to meet the educational needs for the projected population increases in the communities of Halswell and Wigram in Christchurch.
To help plan for the additional children, the Ministry of Education is consulting with local schools and community groups. Pedersen Pierce Ltd has been commissioned by the Ministry to undertake the consultation.
Local communities will have the opportunity to consider how they would like education provision in their community. Their comments and suggestions will help inform the Minister when making decisions about new schools and any changes to the existing local schooling network.
Consultation begins in May and will continue through to August 07.
