Tonga Education Support Program
In August 2008, Eric Pedersen undertook a mid-term review of the Tonga Education Support Program (TESP), an initiative jointly funded by the World Bank and NZAID. TESP aims to improve the quality of schooling and education outcomes in Tonga and to strengthen management, policy-making, monitoring and evaluation within Tonga's Ministry of Education, Women's Affairs and Culture.
Eric led the review team, which travelled to Tonga in August and October of 2008 and met with key stakeholders of TESP.
